Elin Benson

Elin Benson received a Master's Degree in Dance Education from NYU. She has spent the last 17 years in the world of fitness as both an Instructor of Group Exercise and Manager overseeing a large staff and diverse class schedule. She has been a continuing education provider for the American Council of Exercise. After receiving her Pilates Certification from Power Pilates in 1999, she pioneered the introduction of Pilates Mat classes and apparatus to the gym environment. Elin operates a studio called Pilates Center of Westchester in Chappaqua, New York. Elin is also certified as a senior level Teacher Trainer for all of Power Pilates Certification Programs and is Coordinator of Educational Programming for Power Pilates.
