Phoebe Higgins

Phoebe Higgins (before joining Dr. Howard Sichel & Power Pilates) studied and worked for 12 years with Romana Kryzanowska, often called the High Priestess of Pilates because of her work with Joseph Pilates. Previously, Phoebe danced with the New York City Ballet as well as with Lynn Simonsen and Kevin Wynn. Phoebe has helped accomplish some amazing recoveries with Pilates. One, a 29-year-old stroke victim, could only move about at a snail's pace hunched over his walker. After several months of concentrated Power Pilates™ sessions, he was walking normally again, erect and unaided. That is one of many success stories at Power Pilates. Phoebe has been an integral part of the development of the Power Pilates Certification Programs. She received her Pilates certification in 1982 from Romana Kryzanowska.
