Kathy Moran

Kathy Moran, Senior Director, Educational Programming and Chief Operating Officer at Power Pilates, is a native New Yorker. She moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1989 to attend Arizona State University and in 1993 completed her last semester abroad in London, England at Richmond College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Intercultural Communication. Upon graduating, Kathy accepted a position at Atlantic Records, International Media Relations, where she promoted US signed bands via print, tv, radio, and video throughout Warner Music Group’s worldwide network and liaised with artists/artist management. January 1999, Kathy joined Power Pilates team for what she considered to be a temporary position. During that same time, she attended a two-year intensive program at Parsons School of Design for a degree in Graphic/Digital Design. A temporary position at Power Pilates turned into a rewarding, full-time career where she has been an integral part of Power Pilates growth working alongside Dr. Howard Sichel, Susan Moran-Perich, Bob Liekens and the rest of Power Pilates team. November 2007, Kathy was elected to the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Board of Directors where she will serve a two year term.
