Cecilia Panelli

Cecilia Panelli is from Brazil. She is a Pilates and GYROTONIC® certified instructor who studied with Romana Kryzanowska and in 1999 received the certification by The Pilates Studio. In 2003 she concluded the Power Pilates Certification Program and three years later she became a Teacher Trainer by Power Pilates opening the first Power Pilates Affiliate Training Center in Brazil. Cecilia has graduated in Dance Education and has a Master Degree in Physical Education obtained in 2004 with the dissertation: “Interferências do Método Pilates na Percepção do Corpo-Atleta de Handebol” (Pilates Method interferences in the Perception of the Handball Athlete Body). In Brazil Cecilia is coordinating and organizing workshops and writing scientific articles about the Pilates Method. This year a book entitled “Método Pilates de Condicionamento do Corpo: um programa para toda vida” (Pilates Body Conditioning Method: a program for the whole life) is being published.
