Tressa Campbell

Tressa Campbell is a graduate of James Madison University in Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with minors in Business and Nutrition. On scholarship, Tressa played attack for the Division 1 JMU Dukes lacrosse team. As a senior, she was given the prestigious Johnston Award for being named the “Kinesiology Student of the Year” and gave the student graduation address at her 1998 commencement ceremony.

Following graduation, Tressa interned for Donna Lopianos’ Women’s Sports Foundation in New York then moved to the west coast for a few years. Returning to her hometown in 2001, she joined the Evolutions family as a certified personal trainer while completing the rigorous 600 hour Power Pilates Comprehensive Certification. With the 2003 expansion of Evolutions to Evolutions Body Clinic, Tressa became a co-owner. In 2004, following significant training under the guidance of Susan Moran Perich, Erin Horst, Bob Liekens, and Dr. Howard Sichel she became a certified Teacher Trainer for all Power Pilates Certification programs. She has attended numerous seminars on teaching and movement including: Biomechanical Principals of Movement and Kinesiological Evaluations of Movement. Tressa is the Basics of Anatomy instructor for the Power Pilates continuing education series in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
