Victor Katch, Ph.D. - ActivCore

Victor Katch. CSO of ActivCore, is presently a Professor of Movement Science, Division of Kinesiology and an Associate Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at The University of Michigan School of Medicine. Professor Katch has done extensive research in the area of body composition, nutrition, exercise and weight control, and is the author of Exercise Physiology, the most widely used textbook in the field. He also does research in the area of energy metabolism and exercise in adults and adolescents. Professor Katch holds an appointment in the Section of Pediatric Cardiology, Department of Pediatrics and is associated with the Pediatric Exercise Physiology Laboratory in that department. Professor Katch has degrees in Political Science and Physical Education from California State University and the University of California.
