Alicia Zabrocki

Alicia Zabrocki brings a wonderful array of movement, experience, and depth of knowledge to the Pilates community. With over 10 years experience as a competitive gymnast, and a BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois, Alicia brought a strong foundation to her professional dance career. She danced with companies Alwin Nikolais and Murray Louis Dance Co. (NYC), David Parsons European Tour, and Dance Kaleidoscope repertory Co. In 1997, she became a certitified Pilates instructor under Romana Kryzanowska with the NY Pilates Guild. She was floor supervisor and was in charge of the apprentices @ The Pilates Studio of the Midwest along with her husband, Doug. They managed Fitness Foundations of Chicago offering Pilates, Physical Therapy, and massage therapy. They have continued to teach privately and as guest instructors throughout the country. Presently they reside in Scottsdale, Arizona, where they own and operate The Pilates Center.
