Gardenburgers Gone?

If you are a fan of Gardenburger veggie burgers, like me, you are probably wondering why you cannot find them at the grocery store. I kept wondering how they could be out EVERY time I checked and at EVERY store.

Well apparently there has been a snafu with the acquisition of the Gardenburger company by Kellogg's. According to the Hungry Girl website, A Kellogg's rep confirmed to HG that during manufacturing improvements, some GB products "may not have been produced under conditions that meet [Kellogg's] high quality standards." It sounds like the recalled products were safe for consumption so no need to worry.

Hopefully we will be seeing the Gardenburgers in their new packaging and labels very soon!
