I always like to remind Power Pilates blog readers when yummy freebies are available. Check out Ben and Jerry's on April 29th for your free ice cream cone. Usually they give out free cones on earth day, but this year they are doing the give-a-way as part of their 30th birthday celebration. Not a bad "goodie bag" gift for attending their party! See the website for participating stores. Consider going with their new organic ice cream, low-fat frozen yogurt, body & soul flavors or the sorbet.

On Wednesday, April 30th, head to your local Baskin Robbins for 31 cent scoops of ice cream from 5-10pm! Baskin Robbin's is looking to honor fallen fire fighters and support local firemen on this special scoop night. Not all locations are participating, so be sure to check their website for more information. As reported on their website:

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation remembers America’s
fallen heroes and assists their families. The organization provides
firefighters with training to prevent deaths in the line of duty and
offers the public information to prevent fires in our communities.

A donation of $100,000 will be made by Baskin-Robbins® to the
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. At select local stores
throughout the country, you may also have a chance to donate to
your local fire station.
