Bally's Fitness, one of the largest nationwide health-club chains, is now partnering with Balanced Body to offer Pilates classes. The chain's senior director of program development states that "before any instructors can start teaching, they must complete 75 hours of instruction". Instructors will be required to continue their education and will be teaching both mat and equipment (Allegro Reformers, EXO chairs and arcs) lessons. The gym is even dedicating a separate studio for Pilates classes to ensure a limited class size and avoid the distraction of clanging weights and music. About 47 gyms nationwide currently offer Pilates programming and more locations will be added in the coming year.
My first suggestions is ALWAYS check Power Pilates to see if there are instructors or studios in your area. But, if all you have is your local Bally's, check their classes and fees here.
