Movement, Muscles and Mechanics Part 1 and Part 2 |
This seminar provides an in depth look at how individual joint mechanics are controlled by a very integrated neuro-muscular system that provides the human body with almost an endless combination of movement and postures. This course will help Pilates instructors and Professional trainers to better understand the body’s potential movement abilities and possible limitations regardless of what modality of exercise a person is participating in or what equipment is being utilized.
Part 1 is the pre-conference lecture with hands-on demonstrations presented by well known Author and Biomechanics expert Everett Aaberg. Part 2 continues with practical application utilizing various tools with a focus on the unique equipment used in Pilates, presented by Cecil Hightower, national presenter and director of Professional Training at the TELOS Fitness center. |
