Apprenticing Details

The Power Pilates Comprehensive program requires at least 600 Apprentice Hours to be completed. Apprentice Hours are divided by observation hours (observing senior Power Pilates instructors), self practice and practical hours (teaching students, staff, friends, family and clients). The exact number of Apprentice Hours depends solely on individual ability to process and articulate the information learned and is determined on a student-by-student basis.

Apprentice Hours commence following completion of the first Comprehensive Weekend Intensive. During Intensive #1, you will submit apprentice hour availability. Within one week of completing the Intensive, you will receive your apprentice schedule. This will include days, times and exact locations. If you are going to miss scheduled apprentice hours it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate individual(s) in advance of your absence and to make up the hours missed.

Available Apprentice Hours vary from city to city; please check with the studio where you are attending the program for exact hours. Only hours completed at a Power Pilates Affiliate or Participating Training Center(s) will count toward fulfillment. For a list of approved studios, please visit our website.

If you exceed the duration of the program in the city you are attending, Power Pilates reserves the right to charge an additional fee for supplemental apprenticeship time (refer to fee schedule).

If you know of a studio that is interested in becoming a Power Pilates Participating Training Center, please have them Contact: Kathy Moran 212.627.5852 ext 13 or kmoran@powerpilates.com.
