This workshop will be taught in two parts. First, we will take a look at the classical exercises and we will practice touch which is "hands on"; how energy is transferred when touching someone, and why present time consciousness is key. Second, we will explore spotting which is "eyes on", where and how to place yourself in the room and in relation to the client when utilizing touch. Then, we will put it all together and discover how oppositional touch, coupled with appropriate placement in the room, will deepen your skills as a teacher.

We, as instructors, sometimes question if we are telling the student too much or too little. Have you ever wondered, "Why do I feel as though I am talking and/or teaching so much and my client still isn't getting it?" During this workshop, we will look at appropriate cueing - verbal, as well as tactile. We will also discuss how to efficiently convey the wealth of information without flooding the client. Our philosophy has always been "appropriate cueing at the appropriate time."

Add variety to your Mat class by utilizing hand and ankle weights. Learn how to use these props to assist, enhance and challenge movement within each Mat exercise. Come prepared to be challenged and get ripped!

The focus of this workshop will be on the Tower Class format and progressions, so that all of your classes are safe, effective, and fun! Together we will learn/play with creative ways to organize your progressions while maintaining the flow of the workout. We will cover all levels; Introductions to Advanced progressions.
