Types Of Classes/Sessions

Mat Class
mat_class A group class tailored to provide a challenging workout focused on core musculature and increased flexibility in an inspiring and fun group setting. Rather than springs and straps for resistance – you will use your body weight for resistance. You’ll feel the energy propel you toward a great workout in this class.

Tower Class
twr_class A Tower Class is a group class and incorporates the use of the Wall Unit (Tower) along with mat work. This challenging class is recommended for clients who have taken several private, semi-private and/or mat classes. You must be familiar with Pilates movement and language. By utilizing the Wall Unit, you will stretch your muscles while strengthening your core. Be prepared for a challenging workout! You may enhance your practice by taking mat classes as well. By appointment only. Packages available.

Apparatus Session
apparatus Apparatus Training sessions are a series of exercises and movements using resistance based apparatus providing for a deeper workout! You will utilize Pilates apparatus and incorporate mat work into each session. These training sessions provide a challenging workout with emphasis on individual needs and goals. By appointment only. Packages available.


VBarre (by apt only)
vbarre A dynamic approach to fitness designed to define and shape the body with a fusion of ballet, Pilates, and sculpting movements. Acquire the lean look of a dancer with the chiseled body of an athlete by blending calorie blasting cardio, core work, and total body resistance moves.

 

Yoga
yoga_class02 Group class open to beginners and experienced students. Focusing on inner and outer alignment, classes are designed to tone and stretch the whole body. A unique combination of movement, breath and meditation will transform your body, mind and spirit. Leave each class more energized and centered for your day.

TRX® (coming in December)

logo_trx-sm The class will begin with a 25-min flowing Pilates Mat warm-up, followed by 25 mins of TRX® strength and aerobic endurance utilizing the suspended free hanging apparatus, ending with 5 minutes of TRX® stretches. What is TRX®? Some call it “Vertical Pilates”. Developed by a U.S. Navy SEAL, it’s an intense fully body workout utilizing suspension straps that build strength and enhances athletic performance. Easily adaptable for individual fitness levels. SNEAKERS REQUIRED.


Spin
logo_trx-sm Imagine a whole bunch of exercise bikes lined up inside a health club studio. Riders are on each one, spinning the pedals at a rapid pace. The lights are turned down, pumped up music fills the air and an instructor with a headset sits atop a lead bike, calling out commands. The riders rise as one, pedals spinning faster as they grimace with exertion, sweat dripping off their bodies. What you're witnessing is a spinning class, a workout option available at fitness clubs everywhere. Spinning is a relatively recent phenomenon, where participants take part in a group workout on exercise bikes that typically lasts anywhere from 30-75 minutes. The classes are lead by instructors who normally guide participants through a series of phases, from warm-up to more challenging phases, to a period of peak effort followed by a cool down.

KatMoJAM™

logo_kmj-smA high energy high intensity workout designed to sculpt and define your entire body. KMJ incorporates cardio fitness, fat burning and strength building exercises into a fun energizing routine. Kat pulls from 20 years of her own training ranging from Ballet, Jazz, Yoga, boxing, and strength training. You only need to take one look at her and you know this system works. This is a 55 min workout that will have you pumped, sweating and screaming for more.

ZUMBA®
