![]() BRIDGE The GapPower Pilates welcomes certified Pilates instructors to attend our Comprehensive or 12-Day Intensive program as a BRIDGE participant. This is a great way for certified instructors to learn and re-visit the principles and exercises of the classical system. This option is available in all cities where the program is offered. Your prior certification must include: beginner, intermediate and advanced level training on the Mat, Reformer, Chairs, Cadillac, and Barrels.As a BRIDGE participant, you are required to attend the 4-weekend intensives of the Comprehensive program OR the 12-Day Intensive program. You will receive the training manual and be required to participate in the program. You will not be required to complete any Apprentice hours (unless notified) or attend weekly meetings. Within one month of completing the program you will be required to take your final test-out in New York City. Pre-Requisites

Requirements
Weekly MeetingsYou are not required to attend the weekly meetings that the full comprehensive students are required to attend. BUT if you are interested you can do so for an additional fee. $40.00 per meeting or $250.00 for all 16 meetings. Please inform the director of the program about the dates you are going to attend.Final Test-OutWithin 3 months of completing the program, you will arrange an in-person test-out date in New York City. The final test-out includes a written, practical (teach two people at the same time), self-practice, and oral (anatomy and physiology) exam. When you pass the final test-out, you will receive your Power Pilates Instructor Certification.600-Hour (Final Test-Out) 2007 Dates:
If you do not pass the final test-out, Power Pilates will: 1. Advise on areas to work on. 2. Recommend a date for a second test-out - $250 fee. The second test-out can be completed in-person in NYC, at the Training Center where you attended the program, or by submitting a video. CertificationOnce you have completed the four weekend intensives, course requirements, apprenticeship hours, weekly meetings and pass all written, oral and practical exams, you will receive your Power Pilates Instructor Certification.Continuing Education CreditsIn order to maintain your Power Pilates Instructor Certification, you must complete 15 Power Pilates Continuing Education Credits every two years. It is necessary to complete these CECs for your highest level certification only (i.e. credits going towards Comprehensive certification will also cover Beginner and/or Intermediate Mat certification). If you do not complete these required credits, your certification will not be renewed. If you are using another organization's Continuing Education Credits as fulfillment, you must receive prior approval from Power Pilates.
