Taylor is a freelance dancer and Pilates instructor currently living in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography as well as a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Texas at Austin. Taylor was first introduced to Pilates as a supplement to her dance training. In college, she because a more familiar with classical Pilates and saw the ways that practicing Pilates regularly was beneficial to both dancers and non-dancers in numerous ways. Taylor has experience teaching youth and adult dance classes and is a certified Mat instructor through Power Pilates (currently working towards a comprehensive certification). She is passionate about creating accessible spaces where movement is for everyone, and wants people to leave her class feeling strong and empowered as they move through the rest of their day.
