Join us to explore a variety of evidence-based mindfulness and compassion practices that have been proven to improve focus and concentration, help us to feel calmer and happier, and to become less reactive to situations outside of our control. Mindfulness has been proven to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and insomnia when practiced regularly. Each class will include a short guided welcome meditation, an introduction and background to the main practice, a 20-25 minute seated or lying practice, and a shorter 5 minute “daily life” practice that can be used ‘off the cushion’. No experience is necessary, and all are welcome!
