This workshop will focus on Joseph Pilates' Magic Circle and how to incorporate it into his traditional mat workouts at every level. There will be a review of technique and teaching formulas which will provide an excellent workout. Learn new ways of utilizing the Magic Circle while increasing efficient, flowing movement. You will have fun and get a good workout!

This workshop will be taught in two parts. First, we will take a look at the classical exercises and we will practice touch which is "hands on"; how energy is transferred when touching someone, and why present time consciousness is key. Second, we will explore spotting which is "eyes on", where and how to place yourself in the room and in relation to the client when utilizing touch. Then, we will put it all together and discover how oppositional touch, coupled with appropriate placement in the room, will deepen your skills as a teacher.
