| Mat with Props w/ Veronica Combs
This workshop will incorporate the use of Magic Circle, weights and therabands for an Open level mat class. A lot of material will be covered so come prepared to experience the increased challenge to the Powerhouse when adding a prop distally. A brief review of exercises will be covered but the main focus will be on how to incorporate props into an open level mat class while maintaining a safe yet effective class.

| What We See in Footwork w/ Bethanie Buckingham
Footwork on the Reformer enlightens us on how our client is feeling and helps guide us on where to go with the work as an instructor. In this workshop, the spotlight will be on this extraordinary exercise but we will also touch on Chair work as well. | Empowering Your Pregnancy w/ Christine Nowicki
This workshop addresses the anatomical changes that occur during pregnancy. These changes necessitate a restructuring of the Power Pilates workout; including both mat and apparatus work. Following a brief overview of the physiological effects on the body, the class format is a sequential workout that is appropriate and safe, yet still interesting and challenging for the pregnant client. You will learn the necessary tools to work with this population. An important aspect of this workshop is cueing. Prerequisites: Mat and apparatus teaching experience.

The Spine Corrector, dusty and long forgotten in the corner of your studio, has many great uses. Learn how to incorporate it into your Mat work. You can even give a full class on it! Learn how to use it for "Individual Needs." In addition to the Spine Corrector, we'll take a look at its cousins, the Small Barrel and the Ladder Barrel. Come prepared to work out and have fun! We will review both beginner mat and wall unit exercises appropriate for a beginner level tower class. You will learn how to organize a beginner level tower class as well as how to make it fun, challenging and safe for all participants. You will experience a beginner level tower class, receive handouts to guide your clients and leave prepared to teach. Prerequisites: Apparatus teaching experience.

| People Lie, but Bodies Don't w/ Aubrey Johnson
So many times clients come to us with an idea about what they expect or need in a session even before they've had their first lesson. How do you handle these situations? In this workshop you will learn the importance of listening to what their bodies are telling you versus what their mouths are saying. Of course it is important to hear their words at times, but what's crucial is to see beyond the words and into their bodies. Actions speak louder than their words. This workshop will also help shed light on how the "Individual Needs" portion of a session can become the focus of an entire lesson. Prerequisites: Open to clients and instructors
