Katherine and Kimberly Corp are veterans of the Pilates community, with over 50 years combined experience and almost 40 years as Pilates professionals. Prior to pursuing Pilates careers, the two were full time "corporate women" before hanging up their suits to become professional dancers. First, they performed all over the world with an internationally renowned magician then danced with the Radio City Rockettes here in NYC. Thus, Katherine and Kimberly know firsthand what sitting all day does to the body -- and the work it takes to get your body back! This unique perspective has given them a greater understanding of the client experience, and they have incorporated this knowledge into their training. Moreover, their endless curiosity keeps them up-to-date on the latest research on biomechanics and sports medicine, which they infuse into their continuing education. Thus, they are sought after instructors in both the Pilates and fitness industries for corrective exercise and post-rehabilitation continuing education. While their approach is more of a contemporary one, Kimberly and Katherine have great respect for the classical curriculum and will always explain WHY -- with reasons backed by science -- a variation or modification is made for certain populations.
