Jess Sylvia found Pilates while living in Los Angeles in 2014, and immediately felt a connection. With a background in ballet and love for snowboarding, movement has always been a passion in her life. By adding this exercise to her regimen of yoga and spin, she realized that everyone should practice some element of Pilates, and she wanted to help guide that experience. Jess believes that the strength, discipline, and challenges you experience in class help to prepare your body and mind for your adventures outside the studio. She moved to New York City in 2019 to study with Power Pilates and is proud to be teaching at their flagship location. “Life is a combination of breath and movement.
