About Leslie

Leslie experienced her first Pilates lesson at Drago’s Gym in New York City in 1997 while working as a Radio City Rockette. It was then that she fell in love with the method, changed her show warm-up from a ballet barre to a Pilates mat workout, and incorporated its foundations into her journey of movement.
Leslie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University and enjoyed a rewarding professional dance career. She was an ACE certified personal trainer in New York, creating exercise routines for her clients in their homes. Later she taught ballet and contemporary dance before making the life change to homeschool both of her children.
The lockdowns of 2020 brought Leslie back to Pilates through her friend Vicki Hickerson, and she trained under Stormi Truesdell of Pure Pilates Dallas to become a comprehensive Power Pilates certified instructor. She loves that Pilates is helpful for people of all ages and fitness levels--from beginners to professional athletes. It is her joy to help her clients befriend their bodies. We each have only one!
