Joseph Pilates created a beautiful progression on an often-overlooked piece of equipment, the Barrel. The Barrel allows access to gradually open two very restricted areas of our body, the hips and shoulders. We will work through this progression from the Small Barrel up to the Ladder Barrel in such a way that it becomes easier to incorporate the Barrels into almost every workout.
